Led by singer and rhythm guitarist Aaron Lee, along with lead guitarist Jaren Robledo and drummer Levi Maes, this talented trio grew up together in the same neighborhood. As their casual jam sessions evolved into something more serious, they invited bass player and high school friend Ben Work into the mix. After struggling to find the perfect name for the group, a memorable night that culminated in a flipped Mitsubishi Montero inspired the band’s name, “Side Montero.” In late 2018, the four friends began recording and performing under this moniker, captivating audiences with their distinctive sound and energetic performances.
