About The Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico

The Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico exists to help children and their families as they face the day-to-day struggles of battling childhood cancer. Many families struggle to cover basic expenses because they spend a majority of their time with their children while they receive treatment. Our organization supports New Mexico’s families by providing grocery and food vouchers and emergency expense assistance for transportation and living costs. We strive to fill the gaps left by insurance coverage and other charitable organizations by granting special requests made by families. Our organization also works to improve the environment for the children while they are receiving treatment. We made improvements to the children’s playroom and recovery room in the Pediatric Oncology Clinic at UNM Hospital. We focus our efforts here, in New Mexico, so when you donate to the Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico one hundred percent of your donation will benefit New Mexico’s children and families.
